Smart Spa Routine on the homepage

Overview

💡 The homepage states described in this article are available from Gecko App version 1.12.0.

The Gecko App homepage now shows your Smart Spa Routine status directly on the main screen, making it easier to understand what your spa is doing at a glance.

The homepage background and status message change automatically depending on your current spa state:

  • Saving energy

  • Preparing your next session

  • Heating

  • Cooling

  • In session

You can also start an unscheduled session at any time directly from the homepage without modifying your Smart Spa Routine.

Spa states explained

Saving energy

When no session is schedule for the day:

  • The homepage displays the Saving energy state and a green background with the message No session today

When a session is scheduled later in the day:

  • The homepage displays Next session at [time]

  • The estimated time remaining before heating begins is shown

This is the normal standby state when no session is active.

Heating

When the spa is preparing for an upcoming session:

  • The homepage displays a warm orange background

  • The message Preparing for session at [time] is shown

  • The estimated time remaining until the spa is ready is displayed

Cooling

When a session requires a lower water temperature than the current spa temperature:

  • The spa cools down instead of heating up

  • The homepage displays a light blue background

  • The message Preparing for session at [time] is shown along with the estimated time remaining

This is common for users who prefer cooler water temperatures, especially during warmer months.

In session

When the spa has reached the target temperature:

  • The homepage displays a bright blue background

  • The message Enjoy your soak is shown along with the remaining session time

Start a quick session from the homepage

You no longer need to disable Smart Spa Routine for an impromptu soak.

If you want to use the spa outside your normal schedule:

  1. Go on the homepage

  2. Tap Start a session

  3. Set your desired temperature and session duration

  4. Tap Confirm

The spa will immediately begin preparing a temporary session without affecting your existing routines.

💡 Tip: Quick sessions are ideal for unexpected or one-time use without changing your weekly Smart Spa Routine schedule.

Skip a session

If your plans change, you can skip an upcoming Smart Spa Routine session without cancelling your entire weekly schedule.

  1. Go to the homepage

  2. Tap Skip this session button located in the right corner

Your routine will continue normally from the next scheduled sessions.

💡 Tip: Skipping a session does not affect your other scheduled sessions or your Smart Spa Routine settings.

Stop a session

When you are finished using the spa:

  1. Return to the homepage

  2. Tap Stop session

The spa will return to energy-saving mode automatically.

Your regular Smart Spa Routine schedule will continue normally afterward.

Important notes

  • Quick sessions do not replace or edit your Smart Spa Routines

  • Scheduled routines continue to operate normally after the session ends

  • The homepage status updates automatically based on the spa’s current state

  • Skipping a session does not affect your weekly Smart Spa Routine settings
